Aishwarya Rai
Aishwarya Rai (Kannara: ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಾರೈ, Hindi: ऐश्वर्याराय; born on November 1st 1973 with Mangalore, Karnataka, India) is an Indian actress . She is one of the actresses more for moment with Bollywood, following the example Kajol, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor.
Biography
After having gained the title of Miss Monde 1994, this beauty with the green eyes gives up its studies of architecture to become one of the most popular mannequins in India. It is besides the image of many international marks in its country (Coca-Cola, Palmolive, Casio, Philips, L'Oreal…).
Noticed by the cinema industry of Mumbai, it is acclaimed by criticism for its role in Iruvar , in 1997. The same year, it gains a price of the best most promising young actress for its service in Aur Pyar Ho Gaya .
It is the main actor of the film Devdas , presented to the Cannes festival, in 2002. Continuing its rise, Aishwarya Rai was, the following year, the first Indian actress member of the jury of the Festival of Cannes.Courtisé by Hollywood, it signed several films with great names of the cinema such as Michael Douglas and Meryll Streep.
It Marie on April 18th, 2007 with Abhishek Bachchan (actor of bollywood).
