Airport of Limoges Bellegarde

The International airport of Limoges is a Aéroport department of the High-Vienna but also the main door of the the Limousin for many travellers.

This airport is open H24 to the commercial, regular traffic national and international or not, with the private aircrafts, IFR and VFR.

Profiting from a varied goodwill (national lines, low cost, aviation of business and leisure), its frequentation has been, for a few years, in big rise. A new air terminal inaugurated in 2005 testifies to the will of the Mixed trade-union for the Airport of Limoges Bellegarde to place this tool at the service of the economic development and tourist of the town of Limoges, of the department of the High-Vienna and the Area the Limousin.

Since September 2007, the airline company Airlinair established to with it a center of maintenance on line for its fleet of ATR which confirms the dynamism of this airport.

History

The first airport of Limoges was opened with Feytiat, on the territory of the current municipal golf, in 1933.

The current site was arranged in 1972. The current air terminal goes back to 2005.
