Airport City

Airport City Beograd (in Serb Cyrillic Serb ЕрпортСитиБеоград and in transliterated Erport Siti Beograd) is a district of Belgrade, the capital of the Serbia. It is located in the municipality of Novi Beograd. Airport City Beograd (ACB) is in fact a park of businesses still in the course of construction.

Localization

Airport City Beograd is located in Blok 65 of Novi Beograd. The park is delimited by the streets Milutina Milankovića and Omladinskih brigada . It is with the site of the old airport of Belgrade. This airport, finished in 1927, had been destroyed by the Nazi S in 1941 and definitively abandoned in 1962, when the airport Nikola Tesla entered in service.

The project of park

ACB is the first park of businesses of its kind in Serbia. Called " the City in Ville" , the park extends on 14 Hectare S. the project, whose realization began in 2005, is led by the company “Africa-Israel and Tidhar Construction” and it must be finished from here end 2007. It will have cost 120 million euros of investment.

Airport City Beograd will be a complex of 14 buildings of glass, used for offices and retail businesses. Space around the buildings must be landscape.

A certain number of companies are already installed in the park: Unilever, HVB banka, Renault and Intermol (September 2006). Other installations are envisaged: GlaxoSmithKline, Cisco Systems, Mercury Engineering and Telenor Srbija.
