Air Tractor AT-802
The Air Tractor AT-802 is a single-engined aircraft of American agricultural work usable like water bomber.
Origin
It is an increased version of the AT-503, whose capacity is increased to 3.070 liters of chemicals thanks to a ventral hopper which supplements that which is traditionally installed between the engine and the two-seater cockpit. Versions
- Air Tractor AT-802A: agricultural single-seat Version whose prototype took the air on July 6th, 1992.
- Air Tractor AT-802F: Bomber of water classified by FAA like Type 4 SEAT ( Individual Engine Air Tanker ). This version is very répendue with the the United States and the Canada. The Canadian Group Conair Inc received from them 200.
- Fire Boss : AT-802 modified to receive 2 amphibious floats Wipair 1000. These floats of course make it possible to bail out water on the surface of a lake or a river. A study carried out in February 2006 in Canada showed that the presence of the floats limits in width and length pulverized surface.
