Air Philippines

Air Philippines (Code AITA 2P) is the second Airline company Filipino .

It serves 18 destinations with more than 60 daily flights starting from Manila.

History

  • the February 13rd 1995: foundation of the company with Subic, Zambales (capital authorized: 500 M PHP)

  • on August 9th, 1995: authorization to operate interior scheduled flights
  • on October 19th, 1995: recorded like a company of Subic Bay.
  • on December 9th, 1995: delivery of the first Boeing 737 -200.
  • on January 31st, 1996: inauguration of the Filipino operations of Air.
  • the 1996: first commercial flights with a temporary authorization towards Subic (2 times), Iloilo (once) and Zamboanga (once).
