Air GEAR

Air GEAR (エア・ギア, ea gia ) is a Manga and a Anime of the type Shōnen created originally by Ōgure Ito (大暮維人). More known under the pseudonym of " Oh! great" , he is also the author of Enfer and paradise (Tenjō Tenge).

Synopsis

In a near future, the technological changes made it possible to create rollers containing a Moteur surpuissant, called A.T. ( Air Trecks ), with which it is possible to carry out figures and jumps defying almost the laws of gravity. Following a demolished cuisante the Ikki hero puts himself at the Air Treck , where it seems to have a very great talent.

The amateurs of this sport call Storm Riders , and gather in groups ( TEAM ).

History

Itsuki “Ikki” Minami is a schoolboy rather alive brawler in four cousins, who collected it whereas it was still very young. One of them, Ringo, which is in the same class that Ikki, is secretly in love with him, but takes refuge behind its so-called fraternal bonds, to hide its timidity. Ikki is attracted by at, not only because of a girl with which it fell in love (Simca) that it often comes to see to involve itself at the same place, and of share the possibilities that those offer. Manga

The series pre-is published in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine since 2002. To date, 17 volumes connected are appeared with the Japan at Shōnen Magazine Comics. The 1st volume, in French, left the November 15th 2006 at Pika Edition.

Currently the publication follows its course and let us be we with the 6th volume in French

Main characters

Ikki is the main character of the manga, leader of the gang of the Kogarasumaru , he dreams to become the Sky King and he uses the road of the airs which is purest.
Kazu is one of both better friend of ikki.
Onigiri is the second best friend of ikki. Strange character especially on the way of carrying its AT: he puts one of them on… his head!
Buccha ex leader of the Yaho it will join ikki in its team. It is often represented by a tank of with its imposing size.
Akito/Agito is a rather particular charismatic character who changes personality according to the position of his stringcourse on his eyes (to place on the left eye, Akito leaves room to Agito, the ex king of the hooks of the road of blood), he recovers its title by beating the chief of the behemoth Akira.

Spitfire is the kings of the road of the flame. One does not know large thing about this character. Others

the style and the environment of the manga are strongly inspired by two plays left a few years before on Dreamcast and XboX, at present " Radio" jet set; and " Jet set radio operator Future". Besides the music of animates has a style very close to that of these same plays.
the manga Air GEAR has as a graphic characteristic that the author, instead of drawing features of movements dynamics for his characters, carries out graphs stylized with the way tag urban. Each character has his clean graph besides. In the same way, certain onomatopoeias are in relief, which gives a certain style to Manga.
