Air Canada Jazz
Air Canada Jazz (Code AITA: QK; Code ICAO: JZA) is a subsidiary company of Air Canada at the regional level serving more than 75 Canadian destinations and American. Its head office is located at Halifax. Constituted in January 2001 under the name of Air Regional Canada Inc., it is the result of the fusion, supplemented in 2002 as Air Canada Jazz, of 4 old small airline companies, AirBC, Air Nova (it even the result of the fusion of Air Nova and Québécois Air Alliance in 1999), Air Ontario and Regional Canadian, all properties of Air Canada.
Management ACE Aviation Inc. (ACE) became the investment company mother of Air Canada and its subsidiary companies after their reorganization at the time of the stamping from the Law on arrangements with the creditors of companies (LACC) on September 30th, 2004.
February 2nd, 2006, the Funds of income Jazz Air carried out its first public call to the saving. The shares of the Funds are compromised with Toronto Stock Exchange under symbol JAZ.UN.
