Air Burkina

Air Burkina is a Airline company Burkina Faso based with Ouagadougou. It is the historical company of the Burkinabe state which is currently minority after the privatization of the company.

History

Created at the dawn of independence, Air Volta of its name at the time fact part of the airline companies which shared their international traffic with late Air Africa. Towards end of the year 90 Air Burkina was partially privatisée. The bottom Aga Khan repurchasing 51% of the capital, the balance being held by the Burkinabe state.
