Air-to-ground missile
A air-to-ground missile is a Missile drawn since an aircraft (Avion or Hélicoptère) and intended to destroy a target on the ground such as a building or an armoured tank. The size and the range of the missiles are very variable, of the anti-tank Missile of a hundred kilos or more with the Cruise missile long range. One generally distinguishes the air-to-ground missiles from the air-to-sea Missile specifically conceived to destroy a ship.
France
- AS-30L : Air-to-ground missile with laser guidance. Payload approximately 250 kg. Planes gunners: Mirage 2000 D, Jaguar has.
- AS-37 Martel : Anti-radar missile television (anti-radar for the French version, guidance television for RAF). Payload 120 kg. This missile was withdrawn from the service in 1999, it was used in operation with the Chad (conflict with the Libya). Planes gunners: Mirage III, Jaguar.
- SCALP-EG : Autonomous system of cruising with long range. Payload of 450 kg. Plane gunner: Mirage 2000 D, Rafale.
- Apache: Arms propelled to ejector load. It is a missile which carries 10 pennies ammunition anti-runway “KRISS”. Plane gunner: Mirage 2000 D.
- ASMP: Air-to-ground average carried. It is the missile used as vector of the French nuclear weapon. It was carried by the Mirage IV P now withdrawn of the service. It is carried by its successor the Mirage 2000 NR (nuclear) in the framework of the FAS, the Forces air strategic. It is also carried by the Super-Standard of the naval aeronautical .

The majority of the American air-to-ground missiles are called MGA followed by a number (MGA for Air to Ground Missile )

AGM-65 Maverick : anti-tank missile for planes, in particular the A-10, but usable by others (A-4, F-16…)
- AGM-114 Hellfire : anti-tank missile for helicopters (AH-64 Apache, drone RQ-1 Predator…)
- AGM-88 HARM : anti-radar missile for planes, in particular the F-16 Fighting falcon and F/A-18
- AGM-86 ALCM: conventional cruise missile (CALCM) or nuclear power used by the B-2H, B-1B and B2
- AGM-154 JSOW: The JSOW built by Raytheon (Joined Weapon Stand-Off) is regarded as a missile whereas it is a guided bomb planing at submunitions INS then GPS. It weighs 450 kg and increases to 75 km. Service entrance in 1998 it is primarily used by F/A-18 E/F of US Navy.
