Aimoin de Fleury
Aimoin (950 - 1008) was a French chronicler.
Born with Villefranche-of-Périgord the, it entered to the Bénédictins of the Fleury-on-Loire, and was there disciple of the abbot Abbon de Fleury, of which it wrote the Vie .
There is also to him a Histoire of the French , in 5 books, of which the three first go until the 16th year of the reign of Clovis II (the 2 last appear to be according to the Dictionnaire Bouillet of a foreign hand). This chronicle was published by Nicot, by François Duchesne and Dom Bouquet.
