Aimed for the image

The festival of Photojournalisme Visa for the Image of Perpignan at summer created in 1989, thanks to the contest of the institutional buildings and the senator-mayor Paul Alduy. This festival non-seulement proposes exposures distributed through the city, but also of the conferences, the meetings, and gives of the price to the photographers rewarding the best reports.

History

At the time, Paris-Match decreed every 2 years the Large-Price of the Report. The association of this newspaper and other partners (as the group Filipacchi, the Photo magazine) gradually decided the Ministère of the Culture and the Communication, the partner buildings, but also Kodak and Canon to support this event.

Since 1997, the Festival is part from now on of the group Hatchet-Fillipacchi Media.
