Aime Doumenc
Joseph Edouard Aimé Doumenc (Grenoble, November 16th 1880 - Massive of Pelvoux, July 21st 1948) is a French general.

In addition, between November 1916 and March 1917, it takes part, with dimensions of the general Estienne, with the creation of the first tanks. It is named ordering in 1918. After having made countryside with the Morocco in 1925, it takes the command of the 1 division of infantry then that of the 1 military region. In 1938, it is named at the Superior council of the war. In 1939, promoted General, it is sent to Moscow as chief of the French delegation charged to negotiate a military agreement with the USSR but the signature of the pact germano-Soviet puts a term at his mission. With the declaration of war, it takes the head of the anti-aircraft defense of the territory before occupying the post of general major to GQG in January 1940 and in particular tries to stop the Germans in the Ardennes until the total destruction of the 9th Army. It leaves the service in 1942. It commits suicide accidentally in the the Alps in 1948.
The medal of Large officer of the Légion of honor was given to the Doumenc general on August 14th, 1940 of the hands of the general Weygand. It was moreover titular, of the Military Cross 1914-1918 with nine bronze stars, of the Military decoration and several foreign decorations.
