Aime Cougnenc

Aime Cougnenc , born in 1890, died in 1962, was a French trade unionist of the postal and telecommunications authorities. He was general secretary of the postal federation CGT of 1938 with 1940.

Joined together after the Agreements of Munich, this authority excludes from the direction of the postal federation the Communist Henri Gourdeaux. This ousting, the day before the war, will double in October 1939 exclusion of old the " unitaires" of any trade-union responsibility in its federation.

A committee of management is set up, associating the two parts for the preparation of a congress. But Cougnenc does not appear there. Definitively challenged for its attitude in 1938-1939 and its absence of resistance during the war. Decree and held, briefly, after August 1944, it disappears from the trade unionism post-office employee.
