Aigurande

Aigurande is a common French, located in the department of the Indre and the area Center.

Etymology

  • Its name comes from the toponym Gallic Equoranda , which indicates an liquid element (river in general) being used as border between two Gallic Peuples: here the Pictons (Poitou) and the Bituriges (Berry).
