Ahmet III
Ahmet III (born the December 30th 1673 - died on July 1st 1736) was the 23e sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
Biography
August 1st Wire of Mehmed IV, Ahmet III succeeded the August 21st 1703 Mustafa II, his/her brother, who had just been deposited by the Janissaire S.It gave asylum to Charles XII, after the defeat of Poltava, beat Pierre Large the on the Pruth (1711), and conquered the Morée on the Vénitiens, but it was overcome by the Imperial ones with Peterwaradin, 1716, lost Belgrade, and was forced to sign in 1718 with the Empire the peace of Passarowitz.
It was deposited by the Janissaire S in 1730, and died, six years after, in its prison, at 62 years.
