Ahmed Réda Chami was born in 1961 with Casablanca. He is current the New technology and Trade, Minister of Industry.

Course

  • It is titular of a diploma for the occupation of engineer of arts and manufactures of the central École Paris (1985) and of a Master off Business Administration of the John E. Anderson Graduate School Of Management in 1989 with UCLA (Los Angeles, the United States).

  • Since July 2005, it occupies the general position of director of the Groupe Saham where it is responsible for the central services and is in load of the development projects of the Group and the operational follow-up of certain subsidiary companies, in particular the Essaada insurances, Mondial Assistance and the specialized subsidiaries in information technologies.

  • Before, it had occupied several stations of which that of president of Microsoft South East Asia in Singapore (2003-2004), of Regional director emergent Countries, Microsoft South East Asia, in Singapore (2001-2003), of managing director of Microsoft North West Africa, in Morocco between 1997 and 2001. He was also managing director of the Central Dairy Company of North to the Morocco between 1989 and 1991.

  • Member of the preparatory committee of the program of the socialist Union of the popular forces (USFP), he is also vice-president of ONG Zakoura, vice-president of Morocco 2020, and vice-president of association Good works of the heart.
