Ahmed Oudjani
Ahmed Oudjani (1937 - 1998) was a Footballeur Algérie N which made the essence of its career to RC Lens. Frightening attacking, he was better striker of the Championnat of France in 1964 (30 goals).
Career
Young people remember especially Chérif Oudjani, but his/her Ahmed father even more marked certainly the history of the Racing Club of Lens. Arrived at Lens at the time of the season 1957-1958 (15 goals) coming from US Vendôme where he had been better striker of the Western group of CFA; this international Algerian quickly becomes the best striker lensois at the time of the season 1959-1960 (16 goals). Its career is however stopped by the events of Algeria which it will have to join. However, it returns at the time of the season 1962-1963 (17 goals). And in 1963-1964, the attacker finishes even better striker of the first Division with 30 goals and by marking 6 goals against Racing of Paris on December 8th, 1963, at the time of a memorable victory of Lens 10-2. There will remain player in Racing until 1966. Then played Racing Club of Paris, Sedan and Caen and finally in Algeria.
It was also selected fifteen times in team of Algeria. It also gained with Lens twice the Coupe Drago (1960 & 1965). It will finish its career in staff lensois as from 1974, in particular by supervising the adversaries of Blood and Or outside and by involving the young people. It is deceased in the night from January 14th to 15th 1998 at the 60 years age following an cardiac arrest.
