Ahmed Abdallah Abderamane (June 12th 1919 - November 26th 1989) is old a president of the Islamic Federal republic of the Comoros.

Abdallah was born in Domoni, on the east coast the island of Anjouan. The decision of the government of Jacques Chirac, adopted by the French Parliament the July 3rd 1975, to make it possible Mayotte to remain French is a snub for Ahmed Abdallah which response by proclaiming independence unilaterally the July 6th 1975 and becomes the first Head of State of the Comoros. Not for a long time because the August 3rd 1975 it is reversed by a coup d'etat organized by Ali Soilih and the French mercenary Bob Denard on the island of the Grande Comore. Ahmed Abdallah is dislodged of the island of Anjouan by a hundred “mapinduzi” (military militants) framed by mercenaries. It leaves then in exile in France.

In May 1978 it takes again the capacity by a coup d'etat always organized by the mercenary Bob Denard. It returns the May 21st, is accommodated in a triumphal way and proclaims with western journalists jellyfishes: “ It is necessary that I remake myself ”. It then installs an autocratic capacity in which the opposition is only tolerated. He is elected the October 23rd 1978 president of the Islamic federal republic of the Comoros . He is the only candidate.

In 1982, Abdallah dissolved all political parties and created the sole party Comorian Union for Progress (Left blue). Little by little, the mode becomes dictatorial, framed by the mercenaries who control the country and avoid several coup attempts of State. Re-elected the September 30th 1984 its party gains the totality of the seats to the federal Parliament the May 22nd 1987. It opens its country with the foreign investors, especially South-African, in the fields of tourism and fishing. In exchange Moroni becomes a base camp for operations against the Mozambique. But over the last years of its life it is locked up more and more in its residences, surrounded of the mercenaries of which it is murmured sometimes that he is the hostage, while corruption develops in a considerable way.

In November 1989, Abdallah is assassinated under mysterious conditions of a gust of machine pistol and in the presence of Bob Denard, the culprit whom can be a partisan of Said Mohamed Djohar, the half-brother of Ali Soilih with which returns the capacity or Bob Denard itself. The international reprobation which follows this homicide makes it possible the France to impose the departure of the mercenaries. Ahmed Abdallah leaves with her family a considerable fortune but a country mined by corruption and with insufficient economic development.
