Ahmed, the prince of Alhambra

Ahmed, prince of Alhambra (Ahmed, el príncipe of Alhambra) is a Spanish feature-length film of animation carried out by Juan Bautista Berasategi, left in 1998.

Synopsis

Ahmed grew within the framework enchanter of the most beautiful palate of the world, the Alhambra. Followed closely by its tutor Eben Bonabben, it is already a true scholar who can also speak with the birds. Nothing him misses, except the love. What he is unaware of, it is that astrologers predicted the day of its birth that great catastrophes would occur if he fell in love one day, and this is why he saw recluse thus. Inevitably allured a day, it leaves Grenade and share in the search of its beautiful. Arrived in Navarre, it is obliged, to defend oneself, to take a weapon - what it had never done until there.

Comment

The scenario takes as a starting point rather remote manner of a work by Washington Irving, the Tales of Alhambra , by stressing the history of love rather than on philosophical dimension.
