Aguel\' hoc

Aguel' hoc or Adiel-hoc (derivative of local phonetics) according to certain documents is a rural district of the north of the Mali, chief town of sector of the circle of Tessalit, in the Région of Kidal (8°région of Mali).

Geography

Aguel' hoc is located at the north of the valley of Telemsi.
In the Adrar of Iforas, it is located on the Trans-Saharan one, to 430 km in the North of Gao, and to 150 km in the south of the Algerian border, into full Désert.

The surface of the commune is approximately 22.000 km, that is to say the equivalent of Belgium.

Its population, to 95% touarègue, is assembled to more than 11.000 inhabitants (estimative figure resulting from the last census). The great majority saw wandering breeding.
