Agreements of Nassau
The agreements of Nassau , signed the December 21st 1962 with Nassau with the the Bahamas, between the the United States and the the United Kingdom, relate to the supply of missiles Polaris to the United Kingdom.
In exchange of the abandonment of the air-to-ground rockets Skybolt, the United States will deliver to Great Britain missiles Polaris usable by submarines. The British agree to use their nuclear force only in agreement with the Americans and give up of this fact an autonomous deterrent power.
