Agreement off the People

In the History of England, lAgreement off the People was a social Contract for the government English Révolution naire. Its author, John Wildman (1623-1693), was a levelling .

The document clâmait the right to the Vote for all male and a more levelling government and offering a better representation to the House of Commons.

It was the subject of the Débats of Putney of 1647, following the First civil war English. The levellers hoped that the news Constitution is based on L Agreement , but its final version proved to be much a less revolutionist.
