Agglopole Provence
Agglopole Provence is the name of the Community of agglomeration Living room-Pond of the Berre-Durance.
Composition
It is made up of 17 communes:- Alleins,
- Will have,
- Barben,
- Berre-l' Étang,
- Charleval,
- Eyguières,
- the Fare-the-Olive-trees,
- Lamanon,
- Lançon-Provence,
- Mallemort,
- Pélissanne,
- Rognac,
- Saint-Chamas,
- Living room-of-Provence ,
- Sénas,
- Velaux,
- Vernègues
This community gathers 130.000 inhabitants on a territory of 514 km ². Its seat is in the town of Living room-of-Provence, which is also the principal center.
Organization
The community is made up of a Community council of 77 advisers representing the various communes as well as Community office composed of a president and of 22 vice-presidents (elected by the council) representing the executive body of the community.Moreover, 4 commissions (also elected by the council) are in load of:
- to manage the invitations to tender,
- to delegate the public service
- to manage finances and the Community budget
- to evaluate the transfers of load.
