Agettes

Agettes is a common Suisse of the Canton of Were worth, located in the District of Hérens. The commune of Agettes is made up of 3 small villages Peak-with-the Œil, Vernaz, Agettes, between 980 and 1200 meters of altitude.

History

1190 : First mention of a place known as Agietes , Gieti , since 1964 Agettes
a community of the men of Agettes and Vernaz is attested at the beginning of XIVe S.

In 1981, beginning of the construction of the small station of ski of the mayens of the bear and telpher carrier of the same name.
