Agent of judicial police
In France, the Agents of Judicial police are, according to article 20 of the Criminal procedure code:

Police of the National police force
- the Gendarmes
They are under the orders and the responsibility of the Judiciary police officers (article 16 of the Criminal procedure code).
They have to be able to note the crimes, offenses and infringments. Their mission consists in assisting the Judiciary police officers, by a statement or of a report/ratio after acts of interpellations, observations, hearings, confrontations, investigations.
