AgentX
AgentX (or Agent Extensibility Protocol) is a protocol network defined in the RFC2741. It is used in order to extend the possibilities of an agent SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).
The principle is to make it possible a central agent (the Master) to join together, in a dynamic way, the trees of various agents (sub-agents). The user addresses then only to the Master. The communication enters the elements is done thanks to agentX
