Born in 1992, Agathe Ze Bouse is a group of French music which practices a scientist mixes songs Rock, Funk, pop, Jazz, Expérimental and unclassable, halfway between Boris Vian and Frank Zappa, and tries by all the means (full with concerts, 3 albums, 1 Bouse opera) of getting rid of its bovine obsession. Biography

Before 1992 , four of the current members of Agathe Ze Bouse play within DS Al Coded. In September 1992, of return of a small round to Denmark with reg.' lily, DS Al Coded car dissolves and reappears after some changes under the name of Agathe Ze Bouse. Under the influence of Maurice (song), high in a farm charolaise, Agathe Ze Bouse takes for emblem the cow. The septet imposes quickly its humor cow, its visual spectacles, its heteroclite characters and mild nutters, its satirical texts in a mixture of musical styles: funk, rock'n'roll, jazz, latino, trash-haversack… Halfway between Boris Vian and Franck Zappa.

1994 sees the exit of first CD Vilain at the time of a memorable concert in Wave Rider. A thousand of people on the beach of frontignan attend an arrival agricultural way péplum out of tractor left the floods then splitting crowd, torches with the hand.
In 1997 Agathe Ze Bouse counts from now on eleven members including two bousettes (a finally little femininity!). They continue “To botch” all the musical styles and record an album live which leaves in 1998 (concert of exit in Victoire2 - Montpellier). Agathe Ze Bouse also contributes to the creation of the festival " Spring of bouses".
Of 1998 to 2000 , Agathe Ze Bouse furrows the area: Toulouse, Béziers, Carcassonne, Montpellier, Nimes, Arles, Istres, with incursions in Ardeche, Lozere…. In parallel the group launches out in the writing to 22 hands of a “Opera Dung”. The topicality catches up with Agathe Ze Bouse (mad cow, prion, ESB).
2001 : The bovine obsession of Agathe Ze Bouse reaches her paroxysm. Agathe Ze Bouse took the bull by the horns: after two years of writing and setting in scene (with Didier Taudière of company the CIA), Agathe Ze Bouse presents to closed counter to the Theater Jean Vilar (Montpellier) her “Opera Dung”. A total creation, a new form of Opera where the musicians are actors, where the actors are musicians, a mixture of song, music, dance and theater. An ode with the cow treated in the form of bovidocentrée musical tragi-comedy.
Of 2001 to 2006 , Agathe Ze Bouse blows a little after the opera and is centred on the music. The composition of the group evolves/moves: change of keyboard and beater, the bousettes and the trombone fly away towards new horizons while a do-it-yourselfer of sound arrives at the samples and platinums. But especially Agathe Ze Bouse starts a slow but neat debovinisation.
In 2006, Agathe Ze Bouse seems in the process of cure. Except some after-effects, of which the bovine universal anthem “To lead the cow to the bull” survivor of 1st CD, the group seems from now on removed from its bovine obsession. The writing of one 3rd album is on the way. In November the group and his preferred sound engineer rents an old sheep-fold with Montredon (Larzac), installs there instruments, material of sound recording and in 15 days carries out recording, mixing and design of the small pocket. In short of the car total production.
January 2007 the 3rd album " One, Two… " is in the vats (finally, those of Montpellier): of Hominidé at the end of the world, while passing by the festival of the short songs, 23 moulded titles with ladle. Musical eclecticism is always present, a particular care is brought to the texts, always as much evil to be made in the first degree and to write love songs, in short, pure Agathe Ze Bouse, maturity moreover.
