Agahnim

Agahnim is a magician who appears in The Legend off Zelda: In Link to the Past .

The history of the play tells that it was made pass for an adviser of the king and it promised to him to find a means of stopping the disaster. Obviously, it had already conceived its plans in advance, and when it had enough capacities, it made descendants of the seven wise ones, which protected Hyrule, its first victims. Then he imprisoned seven young girls in crystals (each one being the reward of a keep in the second part of the principal search), of which the Princesse Zelda. Then, it will be transformed into Ganon, its alter ego in the World of Darkness. There still, it will be overcome by Link in top of the pyramid of the World of Darkness.

Agahnim will be finally overcome by Link at the top of the tower of Hyrule.

Agahnim makes a rapid appearance in Link' S Awakening . It is indeed one of the 6 shades to be fought at the end of the play.

If one referre with the symbol on his chest, agahnim would be a Sheikah, in the official manga drawn from Ocarina off time, one can read that the tear being located under the eye would come from a treason of the sheikah towards the royal family and Agahnim does not have this tear on its symbol and it betrayed the royal family, therefore one can deduce from it that it is at the origin of the change of symbol of the tribe sheikah
