Afrology
The afrology is current of reflection gathering several authors and actors around the question of the socio-economic development of the African continent .
The afrology wants to be overall a scientific study, a debate on the organization of the contemporary social structures of Africa. It places in the middle of any social change to Africa (like everywhere in the rest of the world) the notion of the identity. Africa passes through an serious attack: imposed borders, ethnic conflicts, conflicts of generation, Diaspora, etc
Study of the concept of identity rises the reflection on the various forms from social, institutional and personal identification. Because each individual, though determined by mental and psychological structures clean, is rebuilt within the framework of the more or less broad collective identities, whose modern State is an example. This State remains to be built in Africa.
The Afrology group (founded by Gustav Ahadji) includes/understands a think tank which is devoted to the development and the diffusion of solutions of public policy, with an aim of influencing the actors of the process of political decision in Africa. The think tank of Afrology (currently directed by Ekoué Amaïzo) is an independent structure without any lucrative goal, and positions like a transparent and reliable source analyzes and information to assist the searchs for solution and evaluations of the political decision makers. Afrology aims to propose innovative solutions of public policy and to be an advisory forum for new ideas for the African continent.
