Africans average weights

African weights average is a short film belgo-Congolese of Daniel Cattier, carried out in 2004 and left in France in 2005 at the time of the 20° International festival of French-speaking Film of Namur. It obtained the Price of the best short-measuring of the festival of the Cape (South Africa).

Synopsis

June 1960, whereas Congo reaches its independence, a young Congolese boxer, Samwa and its big brother, Nourou, arrive at Brussels to dispute a championship of boxing. Samwa is involved hard, in spite of precarious conditions, under the authoritative glance of his/her brother; until the day when the Belgian promoters of the combat order in Samwa to lose the combat…
