African house of photography

The African House of photography , or MAP , is a public corporation in scientific, technological and cultural matter Malian charged to promote, collect, preserve and diffuse photographic works artists Malians and African without exclusiveness. It is with Bamako in the buildings of the National library of Mali.

History

Created in 2004, to manage success growing since 1994 of the African Meetings of photography (biennial international of photography of Bamako), it will be the seat of their Head office.
