Aerocomp Comp Air Jet
Aerocomp Comp Air Jet is an experimental single engine intended to be marketed in kit for construction amateur.
This apparatus, whose prototype {N41861] accomplished its first flight in February 2004, is the first monoplane with low wing of Aerocomp. The turbojet is located at the back of the fuselage, fed in air by two side hearing. 1 pilot and 7 passengers must be able to embark on this aircraft built out of composite materials.
The first in-flight tests were carried out with a Russian engine Ivchenko AI-25 of 1520 kgp. At the beginning of 2005 program was suspended to allow the launching of the production of the Comp Air 10 and Comp Air 12. In September 2006 Aerocomp announced the resumption of the program with the project of remotoriser Comp Air Jet with a Honeywell TFE731 of 1530 kgp.
