Aerocomp Comp Air 6

The Aerocomp Comp Air 6 is a light utility plane intended for construction amateur, marketed in kit.

Increased version of the Comp Air 4 which can receive any engine of 220 with 300 ch, it is a monoplane with high wing for 6 passengers (passenger included/understood) which can receive a landing gear fixes three-wheeled or traditional, or of the floats. The kit is sold 45.645 U$ (without engine nor propeller) in 2006, Aerocomp proposing in option a trapezoidal wing and a broad fuselage (10 cm more), each option being invoiced 2000 U$. According to the documentation of the manufacturer it takes approximately 600 work hours to assemble this type of apparatus, comparable in the face as in performances with the Cessna 185 but carried out entirely out of composite materials. The first specimen flew in 1996 and one score was registered into 2006 with the the United States.
