Aeris (airline company)
Aeris (Code ICAO: BOARD ; Code IATA: HS ) was a French Airline company charter based with Toulouse.
History
Created in 1990 under the name of Air-Toulouse the company will take the name of Aeris in June 1999 after its repurchase by a mixed Société directed by Jean Felix and Charles-Henri Rossignol both leant a bottom of placement based with Philadelphia.The company gives up the 737-200 of Air Toulouse for 737-300 more modern and respecting new the European regulation on the pollution and the noise of the planes.
As from the month of July 1999, Aeris devotes only to flights charters international means and long-distance at the beginning of the airports of Toulouse, Marseilles, Nantes and Paris for travel agencies like FRAM
Following the voluntary liquidation of Air Lib at the beginning of 2003, Aeris recover free crenels then left at the beginning of Orly-South, and low launches an activity to price under the name of Aeris Express.
In the month of June 2003, at the beginning of Paris-Orly, Aeris takes off for Toulouse, Tarbes and Perpignan. Then in July 2003, Nice and Toulon join the stopovers of the young Company.
In spite of gravitational tariffs (to be left 29€), Aeris Express does not manage to fill its flights, being found in front of enormous financial problems, a file for bankruptcy procedure is then committed.
The company is placed in Compulsory liquidation November 7th 2003 by the bankruptcy court of Toulouse and will cease any activity for lack of transferee.
Float
With its liquidation, the company laid out of apparatus of the type Boeing 737 for the flights middle-distance carrier and of Boeing 767 in order to carry out the flights long-distance carrier.
