Aegis-Fang

In the universe of the forgotten Kingdoms, Aegis-Fang (according to the mythical shield Aegis) is the hammer of war of Wulfgar, of the tribe of the adoptive Dash, wire of Bruenor Marteaudeguerre. It was forged for Wulfgar by this last while his/her adoptive son was subjected to the " esclavage" by the dwarf king. This hammer is regarded as the apotheosis of the life of blacksmith of Bruenor. It is composed of pure Mithril with diamond dust magiquement fixed during its creation. Its head is engraved of runes, in particular those of Dumathoin, " guard of the secrecies under the montagne" and dwarf god of the knowledge, like those of Clangeddin, dwarf god of the war.

It is a heavy hammer of war, balanced perfectly. Any person not measuring more 1m95 and not being endowed with a considerable force will not encounter great difficulties of handling it correctly. It is magiquement related to Wulfgar and reappears in its hands on order.

Wulfgar underwent an intensive drive with this weapon. It employed it in two battles against dragons successfully: Ingeloakastimilizilian , known as Mortbise, a white dragon, and Black Shimmer, dragon of shade. It was also used during the battle at the side of Drizzt Do' Urden and Bruenor Battlehammer against the balor Errtu.
