the Summit is the goddess cobra of the Egyptian Mythologie, owner of the craftsmen of Deir El-Médineh.
Its name of “the summit” comes owing to the fact that it resides on the hillock overhanging the Valley of the Kings and the dwellings of the craftsmen of the Place of the Truth (craftsmen devoted to the creation of the tombs and the funerary furniture of the Valley of the Kings).
Meretseger means “liked silence” i.e. liked Osiris. Vaults were devoted to him in the community of the craftsmen like to the god Ptah, owner of the craftsmen
