Aeddan ap Blegywryd
Aeddan ap Blegywryd (? - † 1018) was a king of Gwynedd.
There exists very little of information on this king, because it is about one rather dark period of the history of the Wales. In fact, one does not know why Aeddan, which does not seem to belong to the direct line of the royal family of Gwynedd could assemble on its throne in 1005. It is probable that it took the kingdom by the force with Cynan ap Hywel, but no document can support this assumption. It reigned until in 1018, date on which it was made kill with its four sons in a battle against Llywelyn ap Seisyll which took the kingdom to him.
