Ae (Scotland)

Ae is a Village Dumfries and Galloway, in the south-west of the Scotland. Its name is shortest toponym the United Kingdom.

Founded in 1947, Ae is located in the middle of a Forêt of Conifère S, not far from Lockerbie, and counts 200 inhabitants. The creation of Ae answers an experimentation of reafforestation old Tourbière S which one did not think then plantables. The species which one finds in the forest of Ae are made up, essentially, of spruces of Sitka, Mélèze S, woodland pines and common spruces. A fauna abounds there, made up of deer tribe, Renard S, Lièvre S, Mustela S, wood pigeons, yellowhammers, émouchet, Geai S, Faisan S and Perdrix.
