Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes are a collection of police news writes by Arthur Conan Doyle and putting in scene its famous private detective. The original book was illustrated by Sidney Paget.
They are the first adventures of Sherlock Holmes. They were published originally in Strand Magazine between July 1891 and June 1892. The collection was published in England the October 14th 1892 by the editor George Newnes Ldt. Initial pulling was of 14.500 specimens.
The book was interdict in Soviet Union in 1929 for reason of Occultisme even if the book does not deliver any trace of such a set of themes.
