The Adula (or Adulates ) is a solid mass of the the Alps lépontines ranging between the collar of the Saint-Gothard and the Col of Splügen, mainly located on the cantons of the Grisons and the Tessin, but also in Lombardy.
Its culminating point is the Rheinwaldhorn.
Its oriental party, in the east of the Collar of San Bernardino, is called massive of Ceneri.
Boileau evokes Adulated it in the Passage of the Rhine .
