Adtranz
Adtranz (or ADtranz , the complete name being has BB D aimler Ben' z' Tran sportation ) was a German producer of railway material. It was founded in 1996 by amalgamating the branches transport of Henschel and AEG. It was initially divided equitably between Daimler-Benz and ABB. In 1999, DaimlerChrysler bought the shares of ABB and re-elected Adtranz DaimlerChrysler Rail Systems .
Bombardier took again the company in 2001, becoming thus the largest producer of world railway material. At the time of this acquisition, Adtranz was with the second rank.
