Adriana Ferrarese

Adriana Ferrarese (born Adriana Gabrielli about 1755 with Ferrare - died after 1804 with Venice) was a singer of opera (Soprano) Italy. It is known like Ferrarese (undoubtedly because of the place of its birth), and like Adriana Ferrarese del Bene according to its marriage with Luigi del Bene.

It was creative role of Fiordiligi in 1790 in the Cosi fan tutte of Mozart. She sang the role of Suzanne during the resumption of the Marriages of Figaro in 1789. Mozart composed then two airs Al desio di chi adored you , K. 577 to replace the air of the chestnut trees and a motor bike di gioia K. 579 in the place of Venite, inginocchiatevi .

It passes to have been the mistress of Lorenzo da Ponte.

She sang in operas of Vicente Martin Soler Raises It there di Diana on a booklet of Da Ponte in 1788 and of Salieri It Pastor fido and Cifra in 1789 still on booklets of Da Ponte.
