Adret

The Adret (term geographical of 1927 resulting from the Old French adrecht - skilful, place or good side, synonym: Soulane) indicates the slopes of a valley of mountain which profit from the longest exposure to the Sun.

This type of slope gave its name to villages in the Alps, in particular with that of the Adrets (in Isere).
