Adolphe de Nassau
Adolphe de Nassau , (v. 1255 - July 2nd 1298), is a Germanic Roman Emperor which reigned of 1292 with 1298. He was count de Nassau-Wiesbaden, count de Nassau-Weilburg, count de Nassau-Idstein of 1276 with 1298.
Family
Wire of the count Valéran II of Nassau and Adelaide von Katzenelnbogen.
In 1271, it married Imagina zu Isemburg-Limburg (deceased in 1298), (girl of the count Gerlier Ier zu Isemburg-Limburg.

Biography
At the time of its election Adolphe de Nassau was supported by Venceslas II of Bohemia, Siegfried de Westerburg and the bishop of Mainz, Gerard II von Eppestein. Adolphe de Nassau was hardly known but by his value when he was elected, in 1292, emperor of Germany, with the exlusion of Albert Ier of the Holy roman Empire. He was made at once crown with Aachen, but not having held the promises which he had made to the voters, he was deposited in 1298. Albert, elected official in his place, beat it with Goelheim, close to Worms, and killed it the July 2nd 1298.
It was buried in the monastery of Eberbach, then in 1309 in the cathedral of Spire.
