Adolf Stieler
Adolf Stieler is a Géographe and Cartographe German, born with Gotha in 1775 and deceased in the same city in 1836.
After being entered the governmental administration of Gotha, he becomes intimate adviser of regency in 1829. He is especially known for his considerable cartographic work and by progress which he carried out in the drafting of geographical maps.
Its Chart of Germany in 25 sheets, its traditional Atlas , and especially its manual Atlas , written in collaboration with Reichard, is its most important works. Let us note that this last work was several times republished since.
