Adolf Fritzen
Adolf Fritzen (August 10th 1838 with Clèves, Germany - September 7th 1919 with Strasbourg) was the 99e bishop of Strasbourg.
Biography
- January 24th 1891: named bishop of Strasbourg
- June 1st 1891 confirmed in the functions of bishop of Strasbourg
- the shortly after the armistice: present its resignation to the Holy See, which is not accepted until the Traité of Versailles is signed.
- July 31st 1919: The pope accepts his resignation and titular Archevêque Kırşehir names it the same day
- September 7th 1919: die with old 81 years
