The Uganda is located in the middle of the Africa of the Big lakes, surrounded by three of them, the Lac Edouard, the Lac Albert and the Lake Victoria. The majority of the borders of the country are lakes.
Relief
The country is mainly made up of a plate surrounded by mountains, which makes it more favourable with the Agriculture and less prone to the tropical diseases than of other countries of the area. The relief is composed of hills at the flat top, separated by valleys at the bottom of which the Papyrus abounds.
The Pic Marguerita of the Mont Ruwenzori culminates with 5 ' 110 meters of altitude. The other tops of Uganda are the mounts Elgon, Moroto and Kadam in the east and Morungole in north.
Climate
Located on the equator, Uganda enjoys however a climate moderated by altitude. The year knows two dry seasons (December at February, then from June to August). The North-East, close to the Sudan, is semi-arid.
