Adobe Hearing
Adobe Hearing - in the past Cool Edict Pro - is a Logiciel of handling of given digital audios, published by Adobe Systems. In the beginning, Cool Edict Pro was a product of the company Syntrillium Software. It was repurchased in May 2003 by Adobe, which renamed it Adobe Hearing before putting it on the market in August of the same year, within the framework of the Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio .
It is a PC software, of complete treatment of audio signal to the standard sizes, such as the .wav and the .mp3 inter alia, and with various less current formats.
It comprises a module multitrack (128 tracks), making it possible to mix several audio stream, these flows which can be read directly with their various formats of origin - including, for the interface multitrack, in .mid or .midi.
On the other hand, Audition does not create, does not safeguard with the format .mid; it can only read this particular format, those which it completely treats being of type form of wave (wave), that they are compressed (.mp3, .wma…) or not (.wav).
The last versions of Cool Edict Pro were 2.0 and 2.1. Version 2.1 comprises a module Surround , namely of multichannel treatment of audio stream in mode 5.1. This module does not produce files with the format Dolby Surround - AC3 , but makes it possible to prepare the multiple channels which compose these files. It then remains to join together them in files AC3 with a software of creation of flow surround.
One can however reproach him for not knowing to cut out the files .mp3 without the réencoder (at the time of safeguarding the practiced sections, obtained).
