Administrator of INSEE

The administrators of INSEE are civils servant forming one of the technical large body of the French Republic.

History

Recruitment and formation

The administrators of INSEE are recruited:

For three fifths of employment to provide: among the pupils of the Polytechnic school and National universities, on classification and contest;
For a fifth, by external contest;
For a fifth, by internal competition, opened to the civils servant and government officials, territorial collectivities and public corporations like to the candidates in functions in an intergovernmental international organization.

The pupils civils servant are trained with ENSAE.

Trades

The administrators of INSEE in activity are employed or work with the following companies or services: French administrations (INSEE, ministries for the economy, finances, industry, state education, work, etc), the public corporations (ARCEP, the Council of competition…), the large banks (Goldman Sachs, General society, BNP-Paribas, Deposit and consignment office…), the international organizations (the World Bank, the IMF, UNO,…), survey institutes and of studies (Médiamétrie, Ipsos…), higher education (Polytechnic school, National school of the statistics and the economic administration…) and seeks it (with CREST in particular).
