The administration of Le Havre is carried out by a Municipal council elected, chaired by the mayor.

1852 : Ingouville and of the parts of Graville-Holy-Honorine and Sanvic
1910: Graville-holy-Honorine entirely
1953: Bléville
1955 : Sanvic entirely
1971: part of Harfleur (district of Caucriauville)
1973: Round slices (with the statute of common partner, 3 184 inhabitants in 2006)

Since the creation of the Ve République, five mayors followed one another the head of the Municipalité:

March 27th 1965 - March 20th 1971: Rene Cance (election)
March 20th 1971 - October 4th 1994: Andre Duromea (election and re-election with three recoveries the March 19th 1977, the March 11th 1983 and the March 24th 1989, resigner)
October 10th 1994 - June 25th 1995: Daniel Colliard (election)
Since the June 25th 1995: Antoine Rufenacht (election and re-election the March 25th 2001)
